School Uniform

School Uniform

Children at Pear Tree Infant and Nursery are encouraged to wear a red sweatshirt with white polo shirt, and black/grey trousers.  We are proud of our school uniform and kindly ask that all children wear it every day.

Please ensure that children wear sensible shoes and trousers/skirts that they can manage themselves.

Uniform Direct hold a stock of red sweatshirts, cardigans and book bags that have the school logo embroidered on.  We understand that not all families are able to purchase these, and therefore do not enforce branded school uniform.

If you wish to purchase a branded item of uniform , please have a look at the details below from Uniform Direct:

If you are struggling to purchase any school uniform, please speak to the school office - we are able to help families and routinely provide uniform for those that are in need.

Jewellery and Earrings

Please do not allow your child to wear jewellery or earrings in school. Only small studs are permitted. However, parents should not send children to school with earrings on PE days.  Young children are very active, and jewellery can cause an injury whilst they are playing.

Help with getting uniform

When the new term approaches,  we know that we will see an increase in demand for food support due to parents having to purchase school uniforms. This can be a huge burden to some families, so the DF4T Alliance School Uniform Drop, Swap & pick up has been developed to help families with school uniform.

In partnership with Derbion and local projects, they are offering support of school uniforms (where available) to help alleviate the stress on families in our community who are financially struggling to meet the household commitments. If this will benefit you and your family, please apply by completing the attached form. Once this form is completed, please email to:

info@df4ta.onmicrosoft.com

If you are not able to email request, please call the Community Hub on 01332 346266 stating that you need school uniform support and you will be transferred to the appropriate team member.

They will allocate (where possible) a uniform pack per child. This will include: 1 jumper, 2 polo shirts/shirts, 1 pair of trousers/skirt. Additional items may be available upon request. This may include PE Kits. . Please know that they will be in touch with you/client from August to conform we have their request and make arrangements to collect from Derbion.
